Tolerating Evil Is Compromising With Evil

We are to tolerate all that is good (Amos 5:15) and to detest all that is evil (Romans 12:9) but sadly we approve or tolerate things that God hates instead of exposing or Confronting Evil. God wants us to hate evil and cling to what is good(Rom 12:9).We are not to tolerate wickedness, injustice, evil and ungodly behaviors and actions, Habitual liars and cheaters, unrighteousness, sexual immorals etc.

Why marriages fail in the western world – Oyedepo

Bishop David Oyedepo

Founder of the Living Faith Church, popularly called Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has attributed the high rate of divorce cases in the world to the belief in women liberation.

Oyedepo who presided over the third service of his church in Ota, Ogun State on Sunday, noted that the increasing call and approval of equality between women and men have spilled into their marital lives.

Adding that, such women now equate themselves with their husbands against the biblical doctrine that advises women to be submissive to their husbands and that men should love their wives.

He said cases of divorce were most in the western world because people in such places have thrown the dictates of God away and have instead started imbibing self-made laws that confer on them near-absolute freedom.

How Sin Spreads

Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
— 1 Corinthians 5:6

As believers, we are interconnected. The sin of one will affect many. That is why the apostle Paul said the church should never tolerate evil. He said, "And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it" (1 Corinthians 12:26).

Apparently in the Corinthian church, there was a man who was sleeping his father's wife (not his biological mother but a woman his father had married). The church was actually boasting about how liberal and tolerant they were. So Paul confronted them, saying, "And you are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he who has done this deed might be taken away from among you" (1 Corinthians 5:2).

Ex-Heads of State will protect Jonathan from persecution —Kukah

How would you rate former President Goodluck Jonathan’s performance in office?

This should be the subject of many books. I think too many of us have gotten carried away by the political propaganda and wars by both the All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party, in which both Jonathan and (President Muhammadu) Buhari were subjected to different characterisations. But we must get past all that. Jonathan’s presidency was not perfect and there will never be one.

Excessive Hair in Women

Hirsutism is a condition where women have excess unwanted hair on their faces and bodies. With this masculine hair presentation, the hair is dark and coarse and usually appears where men typically grow hair, on the chest, face, and back.

It is normal for a woman to have fair share of hair, distributed all over her body. A woman’s arm pit (under arm ), and pubic hair is of moderate quantity depending on hereditary factors. Normally, a woman only has fine hair, above the lips and on the chin, chest, abdomen, or back. The presence of coarse dark hair in these areas is an indication of the presence of excessive male hormones. The amount of hair varies among women. Stop fixing fuel prices, NNPC, others tell FG

The fixing of petroleum products’ prices is denying the country investment in the downstream sector of the oil and gas industry and depriving Nigerians certain benefits from the country’s petroleum resources, industry stakeholders said on Thursday.

The Federal Government currently regulates the prices of Premium Motor Spirit, otherwise known as petrol, and kerosene, and subsidises their prices to enable Nigerians to get the products at the regulated prices.

The regulated price of petrol is currently N87 per litre while that of kerosene is N50 per litre. But the products are sold above the regulated prices in parts of the country, despite government’s subsidy.

The Group Managing Director, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Dr. Emmanuel Kachikwu, in his address at the National Association of Energy Correspondents’ conference in Lagos, said, “Subsidy creates distortions in government revenue distribution as a result of round-tripping and unnecessary carry-over of expenditures every year in a way that is difficult for government to control or sustain.”
