FG vows to prosecute airline agents for swindling stranded fans in Russia
The Federal Government has vowed to arrest and prosecute the airline travel agents who cancelled the return tickets of 230 Nigerian football fans stranded after the 2018 World Cup Tournament in Russia.

Nigeria Whip Mauritania 5-0, Qualify For 2019 U-20 AFCON
The Flying Eagles on Saturday affirmed their superiority over their Mauritanian counterparts by defeating them 5-0 to qualify 6-1 aggregate for the 2019 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The match played at the Agege Stadium in Lagos Nigeria were emphatic in qualifying as they completely overwhelmed their opponents.

Observer groups reject Ekiti election results
A coalition of observer groups and civil society organisations have rejected the outcome of Saturday’s Ekiti State governorship election.
In a statement by spokespersons Comrade Haruna Farouk and Nze Adachi Okoro, they said the exercise did not reflect their findings, promising a full disclosure tomorrow.

Hero doctor’s dad died shortly after last of trapped soccer kids was rescued
The last member of the rescue team to leave the Thai cave, Australian doctor Richard Harris, has lost his father.
Harris’s boss Andrew Pearce says in a statement the father had died shortly after the last of the 13 soccer team members was freed from the cave.

Nigeria Kicks as Another Citizen is Killed in South Africa
A Nigerian, Ozumba Tochukwu-Lawrence was reportedly killed by a gunman on July 6, in South Africa.
The Nigeria Mission in South Africa has condemned the killing.
The Consul-General of Nigeria in South Africa made this known in a statement by the Vice Consul Information and Culture, David Abraham, yesterday in Abuja.
