Taliban jihadists burnt Mrs. Kazi alive while her students watched because she is married to a retired army officer.

Tahira Kazi, the principal of the Army Public School attacked by Taliban Jihadists in Pakistan was burnt to death while her students watched because she was married to a Pakistani soldier.

Kazi was torched alive by the jihadists who stormed the school, located in Peshawar, at about 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

How I bought human head in Cotonou for N12,500’

A suspected human parts’ merchant, Olorunto Dipe (35), has been arrested by operatives of the Lagos State special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), The Nation newspaper reports

He reportedly confessed that he bought a human head for N12,500 from Cotonou, Benin Republic, with intention to sell it for N20,000.

A police source said the suspect was arrested by a SARS decoy team led by Abba Kyari, a Superintendent of Police (SP), at Ajibawo in Atan-Ota, Ogun State, on October 22.

American Airlines flight AA280 carrying 240 passengers and 15 crew members from Seoul to Dallas yesterday experienced a mid-air scare over the Pacific Ocean and was forced to make an emergency landing near Tokyo.

The flight was said to have entered winds up to 150mph- causing a violent shaking which lasted for around an hour. 15 out of the 240 passengers on-board sustained different injuries during the turbulence, but are glad they made it out alive.

The emergency landing saved the situation a passenger said when the plane landed. More photos below.

The Lagos State Police Command has detained two Fulani herdsmen, Mohammed Umar and Manu Hassan, for allegedly robbing motorists on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Our correspondent learnt that Umar and Hassan, who were herdsmen from the Ngaski area of Kebbi State, were arrested by soldiers attached to the OP MESA while they were robbing some people.

They were later handed over to the state Special Anti-Robbery Squad.

The founder of the Christ Apostolic Church, Power and Authority, Reverend Oludare Adedeji, has sent out a warning to President Goodluck Jonathan not to run for presidency in 2015.

Addressing newsmen at his church at Aba Paanu area of Ibadan, Oyo State capital, the cleric prophesied that there would be bloodshed in the country if “Jonathan forces himself on Nigerians in next year’s polls.”
