2015: Jonathan receives PDP’s formal endorsement Print Email

The 3073 delegates that gathered in Abuja for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national convention yesterday ratified President Goodluck Jonathan’s endorsement as the party’s sole presidential candidate.
With the ratification, President Jonathan would fly the flag of the PDP against whoever the opposition would be fielding to vie for the office of the president in next year’s polls.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has blasted Justice Valentine Ashi of the Federal High Court, Wuse, Abuja, for granting an injunction restraining him from publishing his three-part autobiography, “My Watch.”
Obasanjo said the   presentation of the book in Lagos on Tuesday     did not contravene any law.
He said, “I had given the book to my editors and to the publisher. As far as I am concerned, my job is done. I had written the book and printed before the court injunction.
