One of the monarch's sons, Prince Akeem Adeyemi aka Skimeh Obasegun is said to be one of the federal honorables to be inaugurated as the representative of the four local governments in Oyo metropolis.

This explains the presence of the King and his wives in Abuja to grace the inauguration.
