Spanish bullfighter Saul Jimenez Fortes is gored during a bullfight held on the occassion of the San Isidro Fest at Las Ventas bullring in Madrid on Thursday.

"Everything is going well, he has no fever, nor has he signs of internal bleeding," a doctor was quoted as saying.

The bull horn that ripped into Fortes' neck apparently bruised both his carotid artery and jugular vein.

The veteran matador was facing off against the sixth bull of the day in the annual event when the shocking scene played out.
