Politics is a very risky business,says Okey Bakassi



IN a recent interview on the comedy show, Time Out With Tee-A, popular Nollywood actor and stand-up comedian, Okechukwu Anthony Onyegbule, aka Okey Bakassi revealed that there is more to him than meets the eye. He made a startling revelation to his host, Tunde Adewale when he disclosed that he is into Laundry and Dry cleaning business, a fact which is known only to those residing in Ajao Estate, Lagos.

Known as Laundry Centre, he revealed that he went into the business after his tenure with the former governor of Imo State, Ikedi Ohakim as Senior Special Assistant ended.

Talking on his new style of comedy, he said; “I don’t share jokes, I share experience. It is an advance state of comedy.”

He also spoke on his next political move. “I am presently taking a break. Politics is a very risky business. People see you as an enemy once you join them. They see you as part of them, and believe that you are like them. But I am back to comedy now,” he said.

He noted that he usually visits his family based abroad thrice a year.
