All Eyes On PEJ As Anglican Church Honours First Family

After seemingly going into oblivion following the defeat of her husband in the last general elections, Nigeria’s First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan seem to have moved on.

The beautiful Rivers-born Anglican Dame was looking really gorgeous in a green lace outfit with her signature gold jewelries to match in a church service earlier today conducted by the Archbishop and Primate of All Nigeria, the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Most Reverend Nicholas Okoh.
In attendance were the Secretary to the Government of the Federation; Senator Pius Anyim and Mr. Kennedy Opara; Chairman of the Nigeria Pilgrims Commission.

Also in attendance were the immediate family members of the President and other well-wishers. Highlight of the service were the special prayers in honour of the President and his family and the presentation of a gift by Reverend Okoh to the First Family.

Dame Jonathan was full of smiles throughout the service as she sang and danced to the rhythms of the church choir This was her first public appearance in Nigeria after her husband’s loss in the last elections.

After he service, ”Mama Peace” joined President Jonathan in a photo-session with Archbishop Okoh and his wife and other dignitaries at the service.
