Police hunt 'pervert' after man is caught on camera 'taking up-skirt pictures of 10 different women'

A pervy pedestrian is being hunted by police after a man was filmed as he appeared to take secret up-skirt shots of 10 different women at zebra crossings.

The suspect was caught in the act by a sharp-eyed passer-by in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg.

Police are eager to catch the culprit and say it's possible he intends to use the images for the "online market".

Alexander Isayev, 32, who filmed the incidents, was on his way to work when he spotted the creepy, dark-haired man behaving suspiciously.

He said: "I was waiting to cross the road when I saw the man in front of me lower his bag and position it under a woman’s legs.

"She was wearing a short skirt and the way he was holding his bag made me think there was something odd going on.

"So I stepped back to observe him and see what happened."

He added: "When the light turned green the woman walked off and he stepped back and waited for more people to gather.

"He was fiddling with something in his bag and then stepped behind another woman and lowered the bag under her legs again.

"That’s when I realised he must be filming them."

Over 15 minutes, Alexander filmed the man repeating the move on 10 different women before going to the police to report him.

A police spokesman said: "With spring here, more women are wearing shorter skirts which gives people like this the opportunity to fulfil certain fantasies.

"It is possible that this man is filming the women for an online market, and we are very eager to catch him.

"We ask women and other pedestrians to be vigilant and if anyone knows who he is to contact us."
