Enyeama shines, Martins scores

                                                         Vincent Enyeama

Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama, on Sunday kept his sixth clean sheet of 2015 as Lille defeated Rennes 3-0 in the French Ligue 1.

A hat-trick from Divock Origi in the 38th, 63rd and 72nd minutes, gave Lille their third consecutive win in the league.

Enyeama, who kept 11 consecutive clean sheets in the 2013/2014 season, has kept clean sheets in the 1-0 win over Evian TG, the 1-0 win over Cean and the 2-0 win over Nantes in January.

He also did not concede a goal in the 0-0 draw with Nice in February and the 1-0 win at Guingamp last week.

Enyeama is Nigeria’s second most capped player and is in line for his 100th cap against Bolivia.

Meanwhile, Nigeria forward, Obafemi Martins, scored his second goal of new Major League Soccer season in Seattle Sounders 3-2 loss to San Jose Earthquakes.

Martins’ 84th minute goal could not save Sounders from defeat from their opponents which paraded Nigerian Innocent Emeghara, who scored the winner in the 70th minute.

Martins has scored 27 goals for Sounders in the MLS since joining in 2013.

In Greece, former U-20 forward, Abdul Jeleel Ajagun, was on target for Panathinaikos in their 2-0 win over Ergotelis on Saturday in the Super League.

Ajagun struck on 40th minute to seal the win for his side, which sit above Olympiakos in the league with 61 points from 27 games.

Former Rangers forward, Osaguona Ighodaro, scored the lone goal as Raja Casablanca defeated Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 on Saturday in the CAF Champions League.
