Liverpool could hand a Premier League debut to youth team sensation Sheyi Ojo today, after he was named on the bench for the team's trip to Burnley.
At just 17-years-old, he is looking to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Raheem Sterling, who burst through the youth ranks and became a first-team regular.
Ojo, known for his blistering pace, is a midfielder who was tipped to get a spot on the bench for the crunch Champions League encounter with FC Basel, but eventually missed out on the opportunity.
Ojo also travelled with the club to the win over Leicester in early December, so has been pushing for a first-team chance across recent weeks.
He joined the club from MK Dons in 2011 for approximately £1million and could be seen as a valuable weapon if the Reds need a vital late goal.
His performances recently caught the eye in the UEFA Youth League, after bagging a clinical double in the Under-19's 3-0 win over Ludogorets.
Born in Hemel Hempstead, he has represented England's Under-18 team three times throughout the course of the season. In a 4-1 win over Poland, he bagged two goals from the left wing after playing for 82 minutes.
He is not limited to the wing, however, as he can play on the right or centre as well - and should fit in well to Brendan Rodgers' strikerless formation.
