My life is in danger – Abia REC
Resident Electoral Commissioner in charge of Abia State, Professor Selina Oko
The Resident Electoral Commissioner in charge of Abia State, Professor Selina Oko, in this interview, speaks about the controversies surrounding the state’s governorship election
What is your personal assessment of the conduct of the elections in Abia? Do you think the Independent National Electoral Commission has done well so far?
INEC has done well except that the politicians would not allow INEC to do what it is supposed to do. The party agents were interfering and they were not supposed to interfere. They are observers not monitors but they kept interfering and dictating to INEC field officers. So, it slowed down the process. There are lots and lots of false information being dished out to the public by politicians. The parties are very desperate and they want to misinform the public to whip up sentiments.

Fittest foods for men
Green tea: Drink 1-3 cups per day. From cancer prevention to weight loss to potentially slowing the development of Alzheimer’s, green tea has been shown to help fight almost every major medical ill. Hot or cold, there’s almost nothing better you can drink.
Eggs: Eat three to seven eggs per week. An egg a day is okay. Here’s why: Eggs contain a heavy-hitting four grams of pure muscle-building amino acids inside every shell, in addition to boasting some of the highest naturally available doses around of a vitamin called choline, which is thought to help enhance memory. They’re the gold standard in terms of providing all the right nutrients for muscle growth.
Milk: Get three servings of dairy per day. You know milk does a body good, but you may not know that skipping dairy makes your body angry, sort of. When you’re not getting enough, your body releases hormones that cause your cells to retain calcium-and fat, says Michael Zemel, Ph.D., director of The Nutrition Institute at the University of Tennessee. Calories still count, so you should drink your milk by the glass rather than the gallon. But just make sure you get some.
Water: Drink eight 8-oz glasses per day. You know you need to be drinking more water, and for good reason. Water flushes toxins from your system, regulates body temp, acts as an insulator for joints, prevents kidney stones, and supplies the body with a raft of crucial minerals. Without water, none of the other super-foods would matter.
Although water helps in every way, it may be at its most powerful when it comes to weight loss. Drinking a glass or two of water a half hour or so before mealtime, for example, can help take the edge off your hunger.

Selling Your Body Is The Cheapest Way To Make Money – IK Ogbonna
Actor IK Ogbonna recently shared some interesting words of wisdom on Instagram. Read and be inspired.
“You have everything it takes to be successful. Selling your body is the cheapest way out. You make money but you are unfulfilled. Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary.
Impossible is nothing. “Prosperity is not just having things. It is the consciousness that attracts the things. Prosperity is a way of living and thinking, and not just having money or things. Poverty is a way of living and thinking, and not just a lack of money or things.”

WOMAN MARRIED 2 HUSBANDS SAME TIME FOR 11 YEARS
A woman from Delta State who effectively hid her adulterous relationship from her husband, Lekan Onipede, is now on the run after she viciously attacked him with boiling water and pursued him with a knife.
The woman, Rosemary David, had a son for Onipede, a 31-year-old indigene of Ondo State, about 11 years ago, when he was 20. While still living with him under the concept of common law marriage, and in what would appear to be a case of polyandry, she allegedly hooked up with another man in Delta State and had two other children (a boy and a girl) with the man, and then passed them off as Onipede’s children.
Over the years, David perfectly juggled the two ‘husbands’ in Ondo and Delta states, co-habiting with one or the other in a near seamless manner until the bubble burst, and set the stage for the heinous attack on Onipede after accusing him of adultery.
