Passenger accused of groping woman and urinating on seat in front of him during Frontier Airlines flight
A "drunk and unruly" passenger groped a woman on a Frontier Airlines flight on Thursday and urinated on the seat in front of him after being shifted to the back of the plane, authorities said.
Michael Haag began making crude comments to the female passenger after ordering a double shot of vodka and tonic during the first drink service of the flight from Denver to Charleston, according to the federal criminal complaint.

In a statement following a meeting with President Paul Biya on Thursday, the U.S. ambassador to Cameroon, Peter Henry Barlerin called for dialogue to end an 18-month-old conflict.

A former Playboy model involved in a custody battle has apparently jumped to her death with her seven-year-old son from the 25th floor of a New York hotel.
The pair checked into the penthouse suite of the Gotham Hotel in Manhattan at about 6pm on Thursday, police said.
Plane crashes and erupts into fireball after takeoff in Cuba
A Boeing 737 passenger jet with more than 100 people aboard crashed in a huge fireball Friday after taking off on a domestic flight from Havana, Cuba, according to reports.
There were no immediate reports on casualties, but images from the scene showed widespread, smoldering wreckage surrounded by dozens of onlookers.
Teacher arraigned for defiling minor with pencils
A 36-year-old teacher, Lilian Ahaneku, was on Thursday brought before an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly inserting three pencils in the private parts of her six-year-old pupil.
Ahaneku, who resides at 6, Alhaji Gudus Giwa St., Eyita, Ikorodu, Lagos State, is facing a charge of indecent assault.

Kamra Indian manager of Dangote Cement killed in Ethiopia
Deep Kamra, the Indian manager of the cement plant owned by Nigeria’s Dangote Industries Limited in Ethiopia was killed on Wednesday after he was attacked in the restive Oromiya region while returning to Addis Ababa from the factory.
Both the secretary and driver of Kamra, who is the Dangote Cement country manager, were also shot by the assailants.

Ruthless Serial killer Dennis Nilsen dies in prison aged 72
Dennis Nilsen, one of Britain’s most infamous serial killers, has died behind bars at the age of 72. The Prison Service confirmed the man who became known as the Muswell Hill Murderer had passed away at HMP Full Sutton on Saturday, 34 years into his life sentence.

No fewer than 1,098 Abia indigenes have qualified to write the ongoing recruitment examination into the Nigerian Police Force out of the 1,589 applicants, an official of the Police Service Commission has said.

World’s first total penis, scrotum transplant done by US surgeons
For the first time, a team of US surgeons from Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, has managed to transplant the penis and the scrotum from a deceased donor to a recipient who had lost his genital organs during armed service.
According to a report by Medical News Today, the surgeons had been planning such an intervention since 2013.

Officials say 17 people have died in an area of northwestern Democratic Republic of Congo where health officials have now confirmed an outbreak of Ebola.
It is the ninth time Ebola has been recorded in the central African nation, whose eastern Ebola river gave the deadly virus its name when it was discovered there in the 1970s, and comes less than a year after its last outbreak which killed eight people.

Nompumelelo Caluza has been trying for over five years to get a birth certificate for her six-year-old daughter at the Home Affairs Prospecton branch in Isipingo‚ south of Durban.
She said officials have refused to believe that she gave birth twice in the same year.
“On January‚ 28‚ 2012 I gave birth to my first daughter. A few weeks after that I fell pregnant again. This time I was blessed with twins‚ who I gave birth to on October 6‚ 2012‚” said Caluza.

In over a dozen years as a stress consultant, one of the most pervasive and destructive mental tendencies I've seen is that of focusing on what we want instead of what we have. It doesn't seem to make any difference how much we have; we just keep expanding our list of desires, which guarantees we will remain dissatisfied.
