A Bangladeshi football fan who lost both legs in a horror train accident has dreams of competing professionally like his idol Cristiano Ronaldo.
Mohammad Abdullah, 22, lost his legs on a speeding train ten years ago. But now the young man, who also works as a luggage porter at a ferry station is making a name for himself with his football skills.

Truck Kills Robber While Attacking Passengers In Lagos
A suspected robber has been crushed to death by a truck at the Ojo Lowo bus stop in the Ijanikin area of Lagos State, while allegedly raiding some bus passengers.

A magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck central Italy early Wednesday, with reports of damaged buildings and blackouts near the epicenter Rieti and residents fleeing their homes and running into the streets.
The quake struck just after 3:30 a.m. and was felt across a broad section of central Italy, including the capital Rome where people in homes in the historic center felt a long swaying followed by aftershocks.

WHO would have imagined that prices of kerosene would one day become a thing of so much worry in Nigeria? Who would have contemplated that a commodity, which went for as low as N50 per liter a couple of years ago would so soon sell for between N200 and N250? (A respondent even said he bought it at N300 in his area in Lagos not too long ago; arguing that what sold for N200 was the 60cl beer bottle measurement.) Now that was the equivalent of a dollar just a few months ago; and in a country where most people live below a dollar per day, it leaves a lot of questions about the people’s chances of survival.

A teenage learner driver killed herself and two others - after mistaking accelerator for brake and plunging into canal.
The car fell more than 10 feet before it landed upside down in the water - with the force of the impact believed to have knocked all four people on board unconscious.
Locals frantically jumped in and tried to smash the windows and rescue them as they slowly submerged under the water.

Security operatives in South Africa are currently on the trail of some unidentified young men who broke into a Christ Embassy Church branch in South Africa at the wee hours of the day during which they made away with some exotic appliances.
An online awarness has also been launched on the lethal social media with the video footage of their crime uploaded on Youtube, Instagram and other content sites to smoke them out of their hiding.

Indian couple Faizan Patel and his wife Sana were preparing to leave for their two-week trip to Italy earlier this month when Sana discovered her travel documents were nowhere to be found.
So, Faizan was forced to start the first leg of their holiday on his own.
