China seeks more crude oil export from Nigeria

China has said it seeks more crude oil exports from Nigeria in spite of the recent changes in oil prices.

Mr Zao LingXiang, Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.
``But the total amount of export to China was only about one million barrels in 2015 that was just 1.3 per cent of Nigerian annual oil export.

Government at all levels have been advised to introduce sports as a tool to attack insurgency operations in the troubled North-East region of the country.

Speaking at the First Regional Redeemer’s Day in Maiduguri, the Coordinator of Redeemer’s Heritage Schools, Pastor (Mrs.) Fadeke Adediran said the relative peace been enjoyed in the region as a result of military action would be fast-tracked if numerous sporting activities are introduced in the troubled region.

A shocking image has emerged showing a refugee mother washing her newborn baby in a puddle.

The mother was forced to wash her child using the puddle water outside her tent in the Greek border village of Idomeni.

A video showing a white man in a bakkie intentionally knocking down a black pizza delivery man on a motorcycle whom he refers to among other things as “a one pizza k****r” – and recording it - is causing a major stir on the social media.The incident appears to happen as they are pulling away from a traffic light both turning right.

Ambulances rushed to the scene of the explosion on Kizilay square, a key shopping and transport hub close to the city's embassy area.

The House of Represen-tatives Committee on Telecommunications is insisting that the initial N1.04 trillion fine imposed on MTN Communications Nigeria Limited for failing to disconnect 5.2 million unregistered subscribers on its network must be paid in full, instead of the reduced penalty of N780 billion.

The Nigerian Communica-tions Commission (NCC) slapped the N1.04 trillion fine on MTN last October, but later reduced it to N780 billion and gave the network provider till December 31, 2015 to pay up after the company had pleaded for leniency.
