The Japanese have long celebrated hot spring bathing as an opportunity to relax the mind and recharge the body. But for one hot spring resort another activity has been added to the list: orgies.

Fudo no Yu, a famous hot spring, or onsen, in Nasushiobara City, Tochigi prefecture, has closed its doors after reports of lewd acts being committed and broadcast on the internet.

Closure of the springs, which cost ¥200 to enter, was confirmed on the website of the Shiobara Hot Spring Tourism Association.

A former FBI agent has been indicted for allegedly stealing more than $100,000 in drug proceeds and spending it on plastic surgery, cars, tires and a weekend in Las Vegas, the U.S. Justice Department said on Thursday.

Scott Bowman, 44, of Moreno Valley, California, allegedly misappropriated drug proceeds seized in June and August 2014 during the execution of search warrants, the department said in a statement.

WAEC Won’t Adopt CBT Now –Official

Examinations Council (WAEC) on Tuesday said that it would not adopt the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode fully for now, considering the variables involved in conducting its examinations.

WAEC’s Head of National Office (HNO), Dr Charles Eguridu, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that the CBT mode being demanded by some people was not feasible for now.

NAN reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) had, during its 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) recently, migrated fully to the CBT mode.

23 vehicles, 30 shops burnt in Lagos fire

MANY were yesterday drenched in tears as they mourned their losses in a massive midnight fire.

There were rows of shops and vehicles consumed by the fire, which occurred after a petrol tanker fell and spilled its content.

The scene of ruination was Iyana-Ipaja in Agbado Oke Odo Local Council Development Area (LCDA). No lives were lost in the incident.

New mothers can significantly reduce their babies’ risk of developing childhood leukemia by breast-feeding them, according to a new study.

Children and teens who were breast-fed for at least six months were 19% less likely to be diagnosed with leukemia compared with kids who nursed for six months or less, researchers reported Monday in the journal JAMA Pediatrics.

Six centralBank of Nigeria (CBN) officials and 16 others from some commercial banks are to face trial for alleged N8 billion fraud, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Murder Of NURTW Boss Triggers Protest In Ilorin

The United States removed Cuba from its blacklist as a state sponsor of terrorism Friday, in a landmark move aimed at paving the way towards normalising ties frozen for half a century.

US President Barack Obama had notified Congress earlier this year that he intended to remove Havana from the list, giving lawmakers 45 days to object, which elapsed Friday.

Now Secretary of State John Kerry "has made the final decision to rescind Cuba's designation as a state sponsor of terrorism, effective today, May 29, 2015," the State Department said in a statement.

"The rescission of Cuba's designation as a state sponsor of terrorism reflects our assessment that Cuba meets the statutory criteria for rescission," the statement said.
