A speeding Toyota Camry car yesterday ran into the Ikosi-Ketu branch of Mr Biggs as lovers were celebrating Val’s day yesterday. The car’s brake failed and the driver couldn’t control it. Thankfully no life was lost.

A 32 year old woman, Janet Effiong has been arrested for allegedly

sending an armed robber after her boyfriend for cheating on her.

It was learnt that Effiong was arrested along with a robbery suspect, Femi Talabi.

They were arrested on Airport Road, near Ajao Estate,

in the Isolo area of Lagos by policemen attached to the Rapid Response Squad.

They were thereafter transferred to the state Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Ikeja.
