Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has promised their supporters that they will ‘try everything’ to se-cure the Europa League.
The Reds take on reigning champions Sevilla in Basle on Wednesday night – with the additional prize of a place in the Champions League next season up for grabs as well as silverware.
And speaking ahead of the St Jakob Park showpiece, Klopp has hailed the support of the Anfield outfit.
“We already know about the desire of our supporters. We know how much they want to win this cup,” he said at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday afternoon.
“They showed us in an impressive way, home and away. Travelling around Europe, it was great to see.
“They live all over the world, which shows everything about this club. We would really love to be the team that makes these dreams come true.
“But this is football. We will try everything. Everything. I promise this. But we have to play our best.
“The problem is, Sevilla will do the same!”
Liverpool are favourites to win in Basle despite Sevilla looking to become the first team to win the competition for three successive seasons.
