Passenger accused of groping woman and urinating on seat in front of him during Frontier Airlines flight

A "drunk and unruly" passenger groped a woman on a Frontier Airlines flight on Thursday and urinated on the seat in front of him after being shifted to the back of the plane, authorities said.

Michael Haag began making crude comments to the female passenger after ordering a double shot of vodka and tonic during the first drink service of the flight from Denver to Charleston, according to the federal criminal complaint.

The 45-year-old Haag kept speaking with the woman as she tried to put her headphones on and go to sleep, according to the complaint. He said that he was heading to South Carolina to see an old girlfriend and was "physically excited."

The defendant asked the female passenger what kind of man she liked, what her "deal" was and inquired about her relationship with her husband, according to authorities. The complaint alleges that Haag stared at her chest and legs.

It was after ordering his second drink that Haag allegedly began touching the female passenger. Haag, who was observed to be "clearly intoxicated and possibly high," was moved to the back of the plane.

After being placed in the last row, Haag took off his seatbelt and urinated on the seat in front of him, according to authorities. Another passenger took a picture of him while he was urinating, and screamed to flight attendants to help. The passenger was then moved to a different part of the plane, away from Haag.

Haag was charged with interfering with flight crew members and obscene or indecent exposure of genitals. He was released on bond, and checked into a Charleston hotel on Saturday, according to his Facebook page.
