If I Can't Have You...Russian man sets ex-wife on fire because she refused to go back to him

A 33-year-old Russian man, Alexander Efimov, has been sentenced to 18-years in prison with hard labour after he was found guilty of murdering his ex-wife by pouring gasoline on her and setting her ablaze because she refused to get back together with him.

CCTV surveillance footage at the grocery store the 25-year-old woman worked caught the incident on camera and it was through the evidence that Efimov was convicted.

According to the Daily Mail, prior to the incident, Efimov drank an entire bottle of vodka, and was three times over the legal limit when he was arrested.

Since the couple split up in 2011, Efimov had constantly bothered the woman to get back together with him.

During their relationship, Efimov often accused Ana of cheating on him, which was part of the reason for the break up, the court heard.
