US lawmaker resigns after conviction of lying about campaign donation from Nigerian billionaire


Jeff Fortenberry, US congressman from Nebraska, has resigned from office after being found guilty by a California jury of lying about an illegal campaign donation from a foreign national.

It is illegal in the US for foreign nationals to make contributions to campaigns.

The 11th annual Jerusalem Marathon began early Friday morning, kicked off by Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion firing the opening shot for the half marathon at 6:45 a.m. and the full marathon at 7:00 a.m.

2019 Audit Query: Auditor General Revealed 107 Million Barrels of Crude Oil Missing

The audit report of the Auditor General for the Federation has revealed that the defunct Nigeria National Petroleum Company (NNPC) failed to account for about 107,239,436.00 barrels of crude oil lifted for domestic consumption in 2019.
